The Sosro brand, which is a well known brand of tea in Indonesia, is actually taken from the family name of the owners, SOSRODJOJO. They began the business of Jasmine Tea in 1940 in a small town in Central Java called Slawi. In 1974, with the establishment of PT. Sinar Sosro (a factory to produce Sosro Tea Bottle), in Ujung Menteng, which was than part of the Bekasi area (now, it is part of Jakarta), the design of the bottles of Sosro Tea Bottle was once again changed. The fruit tea products have been introduced since 1997 year. The Sosro introduce newest product of him by giving to flavor fruit tea.

Because having three packaging is different and good. Having various fruit flavor, although target segmentation is teenagers but its quicker sale marketing.

Consumer can acquire of product fruit tea in small shop, mall, cafe, restaurant, and mini market. Fruit tea influence consumer through advertisement in television and promotion in mall. With in television and pass promotion, consumer interest or affect with packaging and flavor.

8. My Opinion

Target segmentation of fruit tea is teenagers because teenagers prefer beverage flavor fruit. tea also represent beverage favorite family. Tea Fruit become beverage with packaging and flavor different able to enjoy by consumer and consumer affect product of fruit tea through advertisement in television and promotion.

My opinion about the sosro company is company jasmine tea began to stand in slawi, central java. And finally, Sinar Sosro company to built factory in Ujung Menteng, Bekasi ( it is part of Jakarta ). Beginning Sosro only creating one product that is tea beverage in glass bottles. Sosro from year to year can develop with creating new product that is bottle sosro tea (jasmine tea)with glass bottles packs an tetra packs, sosro fruit tea (fruit flavoured tea) with glass bottles packs, tetra packs, can packs, and tea bags (black tea). Sosro beverage is easy met by various shopping centre, restaurant, food shop. Sosro is healthy beverage for our body and beverage with quality.
